Room 418, morning

Door, still three quarters asleep, stumbles from her bed in her nightclothes (a pair of athletic shorts and a Fandom High t-shirt just long enough to make the shorts somewhat pointless) heading for the bathroom to splash some cold water on her face and hopefully wake up a bit more before seeking out breakfast.

Of course, 'stumble' pales in comparison to the sheer gymnastic grace of the maneuver she performs when her feet come in contact with an unexpected body (and only the lack of time to react stops her from worrying about that, given previous history) lying on the floor of her room.

Meaning she goes flying, and lands face-first in Seely's bed.

Which...isn't empty.

"Erf..." Door says after a moment, trying to untangle herself. "Er. Hi."

Vampire molestations and being tripped over by his roomie couldn't wake Seely, but the door knocking?

Rolling to his feet, completely unaware of Door and Edmund's predicament, he mumbled "I'll get it," and walked over to the door.

Peter heard Door's voice as the door opened and just barely stopped himself from banging his own head against the doorjam. "Is my brother here?" he asked, not even looking at Seely.

Peter came into the room, glancing at Seely for a second before nodding at Door. "Thank you, Door." He looked around. "You said Ed was...here?"

"Morning, Peter," Edmund attempted to wave from under Door.

"Errr..." Peter fumbled for any type of words. "Am I interrupting?" He glared at Seely for the lack of a better target.

"Hey," Seely protested. "I didn't do anything!"

"I'm quite certain pretty much anything that has gone on is your fault, Booth," Peter replied.

He turned back to Door and Edmund, trying to not really look at either of them.

"Peter," Edmund said slowly. "This is not what it looks like."

Peter was, in fact, blushing quite a bit at this point. "I'm sure it's not," he said, slightly tentatively.

"It's not even Door's bed," Seely said, trying to be helpful.

If Seely had been just that little bit more awake, he wouldn't have said what he said next.

"Well, I had to answer the door."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"What exactly were you doing with my brother," Peter asked Seely, turning on him and trying to restrain his temper.

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"Talking," Seely replied. "And drinking, a little."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"And yet you ended up in bed with him?" Peter replied.

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"Not unless you count the floor as my bed."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"I suppose it would depend if you do." He glanced back at Ed and Door, trying not to pay attention to the fact they were in the same bed.

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, I guess last night it did." This was why Seely shouldn't talk before he had coffee.

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
"Bed's not really big enough for two people."

[identity profile] once-a-king.livejournal.com 2006-10-22 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter nodded. "It's perfectly comfortable with two." He paused. "Not that the second should be Edmund."
